Ann Halsted House Restoration
HAG completed phase one of repairs for this historic landmark by legendary architects Adler & Sullivan.

This two-story private home is an “Orange-Listed” Chicago Historic Landmark and an early design (1883) by the legendary architectural firm of Adler & Sullivan. Because of this, HAG was retained to perform a condition assessment report for all exterior facades, stop water infiltration into the home, and strategically plan for the restoration of distressed “significant” historical features, required by the City of Chicago&squo;s Landmark&squo;s Division of the Building Department. In 2015, HAG completed the first of three phases of recommended repairs, which included masonry replacement, tuck-pointing, sheet metal gutter repairs, refurbishment of wood windows, chimney and parapet repairs.
